Is it necessary and how can we- fresh graduates build relationships with senior people effectively?
Dear Mr.Quynh,
Many of us- fresh graduates are not aware of the importance of building relationships with senior people. The reason maybe we are afraid and not confident enough to get access to them. The opinion that we are so young and so inexperienced makes us sometimes assume such senior people may not willing to spend their time on us.
Could you please give me some advices on how fresh graduates- who are going to step into professional world, can build and maintain good relationships with other people, especially senior people and so benefit from that?
Thank you so much!

.hi Ms. Minh Nguyen, although the question is specifically directed to Mr. Quynh, i'd be more than happy to share my experiences
.speaking of fresh graduates stepping into the professional (business) world, i am also one of them (graduated in 2010) .since i joined my dad's company, i've had opportunities to meet and talk to suppliers and clients' directors/managers, and also people from business conferences .we still contact each other to catch up things every now and then
.so in order to build and maintain good relationships, i believe we, as unexperienced youngsters, have to pay more attention in the "listening" factor .the more we listen and care about their business and personal lives .the more they will open up and share stories to us
.people often make a very common mistake when they encounter someone for the first time, that is they usually want to express their intelligences, but if we do that, they will start thinking: "alright you smart guy, since you are the pro, i don't think i would have anything to share to you..."
.so again, listen and ask simple questions :)
