Are English language skills important?
It's very useful when Vietnamese newspapers report about developments in other countries that may have an impact - positive or negative - on Vietnam's industries like for example the development of the garment industry in North Korea, which could become a competitor for the domestic industry.
Dân trí newspaper has just translated and published an important article (see title above). Unfortunately, most of my quote was skipped as it was, admittedly, quite complicated to translate. Here is the quote:
"Added Felix Abt, 'In a highly globalized world with a more and more sophisticated division of work different actors along the value chain know less and less for whom the finished products are made.'"
