Having worked in the garment industry for more than 30 years, I have obtained various skill sets such as Higher Diploma in Fashion & Clothing Technology, GSD, Six Sigma and LEAN Pulling System knowledge. May 2009 - December 2014 (5 years 8 months)Responsibility : Sourcing orders from overseas buyer, sales in-charge, purchasing & merchandising. Overall in charge of the whole factory’s operation, P & L. Achievement : Successful set up of the whole factory in LEAN Pulling System & sourcing orders from several overseas buyer. Company profitable after 6 months. Company Background : Owned by 2 Singaporean partners & 1 Chinese local. Company was only set up in April 2010, but in such a short period of time, successfully received 4 major overseas customers & was profitable.
Nature of Business : 60% Knit & 40%Woven, OEM garment factory.
Items : All types of children, ladies & men knit & woven wear.

Achievement : Successful restructuring of the whole Bowker Haining factory, including wages & lean system within 3 months. Set up of sample room in Haining factory, target to aim on Adidas Shanghai local orders.
Company Background : Fully owned by Hong Kong Bowker Asia Ltd.
Haining factory was only set up on 2007. Due to the poor management, the whole factory has been restructured.
Nature of Business : Sports wear garment factory, 90% Woven & 10% Knit
Items : All type of woven sports wear, including padded jacket, woven jacket, shorts & pants etc.

Achievement : Successful set up of a new woven pants factory within 3 months, & took over another knit wear factory 6 months later. Highly appreciated by top management with outstanding performance.

Yu Fu factory was set up in 2004 with a total of 5 blocks. 4 blocks were in operation while the last block was left empty, hence I started the woven pants production there. Nature of Business : Sports wear garment factory, 50% Knit & 50% Woven

Company background : Fully own by Malaysia Maxlin Group.
Zhong Shan factory was set up in 2001 but was unprofitable in the first two years. After the restructure, it became profitable within 6 months.
Nature of Business : 100% Knitted garments factory
Items : Knitted garments, including infants, children men & ladies sleepwear.
Main Market : USA
Customers : Carters, Walmart, Gap, May dept, Federated.
Reason for Leaving : Factory closed down, withdraw from China. -
