Based in South East Asia, Michael is a business transformation professional with over 34 years of success in industry and academia fusing visionary and game-changing strategy creation with disciplined execution to platform breakthrough performance. An accomplished innovator, entrepreneur and learning activist Michael draws upon innovation, enterprise and transformational learning to underpin the business and operating model changes required to achieve results.

Over the last 12 years Michael has successfully engaged in challenging leadership and quality improvement roles of educational initiatives in South East Asia and the Middle East, including education reform, qualifications frameworks and occupational skills standards promotion, curriculum and pedagogy advancement, accreditation, and education investment performance, while acting as primary academic supervisor. He has actively adapted and implemented educational technology in curricula, and concurrently managed the associated change processes to achieve strategic goals of government, higher education institutions, professional organizations and corporations. His pioneering work on learning environments is commercialized.

Michael has been a keynote speaker at more than 20 professional forums and seminars; led more than 10 executive roundtables; and facilitated more than 50 professional development workshops. He converses in English, Malay, Bahasa Indonesia and Mandarin.

Michael currently consults and advises on transformations in higher education, professional education and corporate learning across South East Asia and the Middle East.
