    Dear Ms Diem, 

    Thank you for the very interesting comment. I partly agree. A good leader doesn’t have
    to be a good manager. However, they need to have good managers around them if
    they are not strong in management themselves. I agree that a good manager may
    not be a good leader.

    Remember that leadership and management are
    not the same as leaders and managers. There have been many examples of leaders
    that were not competent at leadership and managers that were not competent at management.

    Any effective person needs both leadership
    and management skills. However, leadership usually becomes more important as
    you progress higher up an organisation.

    Effective
    leadership is putting first things first. Effective management is discipline,
    carrying it out.

    Còn thật ra theo mình, để xem xét cái câu "hơi cũ" này đúng hong thì nên bàn 1 chút về tính chất khác nhau của leader va manager sẽ có cái nhìn đúng hơn, dễ trả lời thuyết phục hơn:
