How to improve transportation system for Vietnam!
In Vietnam, average time of travel 160km or 100miles would take a driver around 3 to 4.5 hours. In United States, it only takes an average driver 1.5 hour to travel the same distance. Sure that United State has better highway system, roads are wider and speed limits are much higher which allow drivers to drive faster. Vietnam’s roads are narrow; condition is bad which make it tougher to get from point A to point B. Not only that, laws and regulations are unclear, many drivers do not tend to follow the rules which make driving in Vietnam more chaos. We can argue that Vietnam is way poorer than United States and it’s no way that we can compare its highway system with the wealthiest nation in the world. But the main point of the topic is to define solutions to help improve the system! Sure that the government of Vietnam and its department of transportation are working hard to improve the highway systems. Question here is the government doing enough to improve the country’s transportation system? Have the government official spend well enough time to realize the important of it? Improve transportation system could help improve the nation’s economy and power, history and presence prove it!!
We, the people, might not have the power to change it but it still not a bad idea if we can debate, discuss, and share our thought on way we and the government should do to improve the system. So my fellow Anphabe, what are your thought, idea, and question each of you would put up to about transportation system of Vietnam? What are ways that we and the government should do to help improve Vietnam’s transportation system because it’s virtual important to a nation’s economy!

2 years ago, my French Professor came to Vietnam, he was
afraid of Vietnamese traffic, he would like to stay in the hotel near the
University, so that it would take less hour to travel. In my opinion, the problem of traffic in Vietnam resulted
from:-
The attitude of Vietnamese people: Many Vietnamese
don’t care about the traffic law, they drive the motorbike or the car but use
the walkway: they drink wine but drive the car…. ,-
The unsevere penalty for drivers not follow the rules.-
The roads
are narrow,-
IN the future, the Minister of Transportation
will plan to make the road with several steps (as Singapore road)-
