- Coordinate with Shift leaders (SL), HSE, Maintenance & facility Team to ensure targets Health and Safety are met
- Ensure the machines in safe condition
- Coordinate with SL to prepare for HSE audit. Upon the HSE audit’s result, initiate suitable improvement plans & follow up SL to make sure they are carried out properly.
- Proactively look for areas where safety can be improved.
- Work with HSE to create JSA (Job Safety Analysis) & RA (Risk assessment) for new machines and review JSA, RA yearly.
B. Productivity.
- Identify machinery that do not produce desired Productivity and work with maintenance to rectify and PM plan
- Ensure all machines meet capacity by IE calculation.
- Trial and report on new technologies and methods as suggested by the Group and make relevant report.
- Work with relevant team to reduce fuel and electricity, raw material, chemical consumption as target.
- Monitor the labor/Hour targets are met by closely working with SL: control worker, machinery and allocate the people as the production need.
- Conduct audit FIFO implemented by SL, analyze and propose improvement to meet lead time targets.
- Receive production plan from Planed team, communicate to SL (Plan & working schedule/over time, balance WIP). In case not achieving plan, work with SL (output) to analyze the reason & suggest action plan to improve.
- Closely work with IE to have layout, make sure the layout is implemented by SL, work with SL & IE to identify & solve relevant problems (if any)s.
- Attend any project regarding to improvement in department.
C. Quality
- Work with SL & QA to conduct internal non-conformance and customer complaint analysis to find the root cause and make sure the improvement action plans, identify opportunities for improvements that will result in lower internal non-conformance and fewer customer complaint.
- Review new SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) of product/process proposed by technician are qualified & ensure SL implement correctly.
D. People management and development
- Monitor the objective of own Team
- Ensure direct subordinates follow company’s regulation & comply with SA800, OHSAS 1800, ISO …
- Work with SL and Trainer to make sure people in department are followed training
