Main duties:
 Lead Sourcing and Procurement teams including 5 members
- Lead warehousing team including 9 members
- Create and manage effective demand forecasting planning based on the company’s production and sales plan
- Seek overseas and local suppliers, sub-suppliers for supplying raw materials, indoor components, equipment, spare parts in different types such as:
o Fabric, leather, marble, granite, metal…
o Equipment: CNC, duplicator cutting, multi blander & sanding machine, paint lines, air compressor and control system, dust collection system etc.
o White wood and finishing furniture: Dining tables, beds, cabinets, chairs, sofas etc.
o Wood: solid wood (Walnut, oak, acacia, etc. with full EUTR documentation), MDF, HDF, plywood, veneer etc.
o Surface material: Veneer, HPL, etc.
o Chemical: Paint for wood, paint for steel, paint for glass, etc.
o Hardware: Runner, hinge, screw, etc.
o Packing: Carton, mousse, foam, installation instructions, etc.
o Handling tools, spare parts, components and all equipment for manufacturing
- Maintain and develop supplier network, build up efficient supply chain structure and control the system to meet the requirement of the production plan
- Warehouse management (Logistics): Stock products and materials in accordance with production plan, ensure that an appropriate quantity of goods is stored in warehouses in good quality and sufficient quantity so that production demands can be met at all times
- Develop and enhance relationships with international consultants and overseas suppliers in order to get prompt support and advice when needed
- Build up and review suppliers’ performance (KPI) to ensure business expectations to be met
Key achievements:
- Enhance relationship and closely collaborate with suppliers, especially outsourcing suppliers for white wood, metal frames, thanks to which the number of defective products has been minimized and reduced significantly by 90% compared to the past;
- Set up and strengthen the supply chain - logistics - warehouse process to run sufficiently and efficiently, from that the wrong product supply or shortage has decreased by 95%;
- The shortage of material supply for factories during the peak seasons, which had used to be a big problem for a long time, has been solved thoroughly;
- Build up packaging standards for finished products (indoor furniture, kitchen cabinets etc.) successfully and effectively;
- With deep knowledge and experience in building material, furniture production industry, I can advise production team in materials selection and production techniques to perfectly meet customer’s orders in some special cases;
- Being honored with the Employee of the Year 2015 Award.
