Job Description
Report to the ASEAN Sales Director
KEY MISSIONS
- Geographical scope: ASEAN countries excluding Vietnam. Actually mainly active countries: Philippines-Singapore-Cambodia-Indonesia, to be extended to further more ASEAN countries depending Strategy.
- Aligned with ASEAN Region targets and Marketing/Sales Strategies, the ABDM develops the sustainable/profitable Sales Business for the defined key ASEAN countries, out of Vietnam, to reach the Operational targets given by ASEAN Sales Director and Marketing Manager.
- Propose and be active actor of ASEAN countries (he/she is in charge) Budget process (Year- MTP,..)
- Manages, challenges the Customers/Distributors for assigned ASEAN countries within assigned Sales Budgets.
- Proposes, manages and lead RTM strategies for market or category plan/objectives in short-middle-long term.
- Accountable for Volume, CAN & Margin objectives and value chain consistency across dedicated ASEAN countries within frame/targets given by ASEAN Sales Director.
- Accountable for achieving & deliver a monthly/yearly local sell out target across countries/region/channel
- Manage coordination with all internal stakeholders: Sales – Marketing – Supply Chain – Finance, ..
- Responsible for implementation of all trade activities on dedicated ASEAN markets through distributors.
- Responsible for weight and numeric distribution / coverage per Distributor, countries under his/her assignment.
- Accountable for an accuracy rolling forecast monthly / M+3 Yearly align with ASEAN local and Europe Supply chain and Distributors/market demand.
- Responsible for stock day management to ensure that quality control at Distributor/retailer level and providing quality issues to customer service team.
- Managing daily report/monthly report to Sales Director / Marketing/ SC (Shipment and local sales) for dedicated ASEAN countries.
- Accountable for active involvement and commitment on monthly ASEAN S&OP meetings with SC and Marketing
- Ensure our Sales & Marketing plans strategies are implemented properly by our distributors/Trade
- Build , strengthen and professionalize the network of Distributors ( challenge current ones, recommend any optimized set up if necessary, …)
- Implement tools, processes and relevant trainings to ensure best efficiency of our distributors.
- Aligned with COMPANY ASEAN Marketing Management, Manage, assess, challenge, recommend most accurate sku portfolio by country, Distributor, channel.
- Monitor closely sales Budget and, aligned with ASEAN Marketing team, coordinate implementation of Marketing activities and related budget/spending
- Coordinate Quality and Regulatory between Distributors and ASEAN Quality/regulatory team
Job Requirements
1. Educational Qualifications:- Master Business Management degree .
2. Working Experience: min 5 years-experiences as BDM or KAM Manager in international FMCG environment,covering ASEAN geographies
out of Vietnam – ideally Singapore/Philippines/Indonesia. Other Geographies is a plus (Thailand – Malaysia,..)
3. Technical & Professional competencies required:
- Strong leadership and well organizational skills
- Knowledge of internal process and external operation of channel through Distributors
- Managing thinking of short term-middle term and long term vision.
- Deep knowledge of FMCG retail landscape and RTM planning through ASEAN Distributors
- Experience to deal with both direct customers and external distributors in ASEAN geography
- Analytical and planning and negotiation skills. Able to manage top and bottom lines of P&L
- Knowledge of Channel definition and Channel role in retail market
- Team player, able to coordinate internal/external stakeholders.
- Sales capability and sales career develop within organisation.
- Dynamic public presentation and problem solving.
- Strong negotiations skills and value chain driver
- Sales Ethics and knowledge of the legal aspect and the rules of competition
