How to build up your individual brand in your industry?

This is how a BRAND is build: A-B-C
- A: Get attention
- B: Let people know what is your Brand is about
- C : Get the message that you want to convey through the target audience

I apply this ABC principle in building personal brand by:
- Join frequent networking event with careful preparation & selectively PR myself through different channel (PR, Anphabe, friend or client recommendation, etc) so that I can get enough attention
- Get clear of my Personal & professional Vision, always ready with Elevator speech, so that in a very short time can get people know who I am and what my company's doing
- The message that I want everyone to know about me that I'm an effective connector, who can connect them to the right information, connection and opportunity, so I take every single chance to deliver this message and make commitment to keep my word

The last point is I believe that to build a brand, especially personal brand, it need time, investment & consistency. So define your brand and start to spread it out every single day. Reply to a topic like this can also help to promote your expertise.
