Is it worth getting ACCA?

Hien Duy, if you are working in a science, arts, academic, philanthropy or other non-financial areas, the cost benefits of huge investment of time, learning, commitment will not directly return the economic benefits as opposed to redirecting that duration, costs and networking into your areas of expertise. OTOH, if you are a gifted self and speed learner, you may be at the right time and right place to quickly fulfill the heavy certification requirements and although may not fully utilize the ACCA certificate:

* Easily participate in complex financial discussions and

* Quickly understand and contribute into business meetings

* Not get bored with technical GAAP and tax minutia

* Find value in daily transactions and opportunities others may not.

You do not need to be a ACCA unless you want to work in that specialized field, but if you handle lots of money and manage it for others, it probably helps because those who rely on your financial report :

* Prefer a highly reliable financial person

* Doing the financial and tax reports for them

* Hiring highly educated and skillful as to compentency
