Nice question, Mr.Trung.:) It doesn't really matter to me that my boss is a man or woman, as long as he/she is a good leader/manager, someone who accepts the fact that everybody has both strengths and weaknesses, just like life has ups and downs, the same is true with her employers and herself too. The truth is that things seem to be tougher for a boss woman since she has another responsibility at home as well.I used to work for a boss man, he was kind of serious, quiet a little bit, but the thing is, he knows when his employers need an encouragement, in time. I highly appreciate that, quiet or talkative doesn't play any role here. My current boss is a woman. Talking about her is talking about all you can think of a powerful woman who has an ability to identify the meaning that could make a job become a calling, an ability to manage energy, with a positive framing, connecting others in the team. She brings positive emotions to workplace.
Do you know the fact that in America, men senior managers account for 95% while women make up almost half of American workers and over 50% of master's degree belongs to women. What do you think about these statistics?

On statistics, what is lost is that it can take 30 to 35 years to become a CEO of a large company (ie 50to 55 years old). I was at a meeting a few years ago where a speaker said that for the first time half of all Medical School graduates were female. The person went on to say they were disappointed that this is not true for Medical School Deans, which are predominantly male. But that was misleading as it will take those new graduates 20 to 30 years to build up the experience and credentials to be Deans. I believe in 20 years it will be more 50/50.
There are a lot of female business leaders and I have to admit that it takes more for a woman to become a CEO than a man. Both require the same education and experience. If you assume no prejudice, it is still harder for woman. They either have to give up having a family or have a family and take longer to build their career as they take maternity leave.

Seems like most men work well with female boss while women prefer to work for male boss hah.=] If I have the right to choose, I think I will choose to work for a good male boss too.:D Oh, fortunately, my current female boss is great, as you said, she is supported by her husband, I bet. And I always think how lucky I am for having such a nice boss. She also helps me with many pieces of advice in life when I am in need. Every compliment in work is every time I tell myself to keep up the good work and get the job done even better next time. Compliment, I can't work without it.:D And every time when I realize I do not perform well, that is the chance for me to think over and figure out I could do it even better than that, try harder from that moment.

I used to be supervised by Man and Woman boss. I used to hear many of my colleagues complain that woman boss were takative, selfish (I apologize lady and ms).
For my general opinion about Man and Woman boss:
1. Under middle manager level (some one middle): Woman boss has not get staffs' admiration yet.
=> Women boss waste so much time for their children and family. In this case she takes over 50% take care the family
2. Middle and high manager level: the percentage 50/50 for Man and Woman boss.
=> Women boss are supported and shared a part by their husband. In this case she takes 50% take care the family. Many Woman boss get staffs' admiration more than Man.My answer of the topic, I like to work with Woman boss because 1 year I suppervied by Woman is valued as 2 years of Man does. Why? About physiological Man and Woman are different, to work with diffrent sex effectively. I had to try and think double. How about you?
