Returning to the question Ms. Anna Ha ask, I would like to give my list:
    1- Bad Boss.
    2- Opportunity to growth.
3- Office is too far from home.
    4- Search for better salary.

There are many reasons why good employees quit; most are preventable. This is Top Ten" list of reasons why people leave jobs i have found on internet:
    1. Management demands that one person do the jobs of two or more people, resulting in longer days and weekend work.
    2. Management cuts back on administrative help, forcing professional workers to use their time copying, stapling, collating, filing and other clerical duties.
    3. Management puts a freeze on raises and promotions, when an employee can easily find a job earning 20-30 percent more somewhere else.
    4. Management doesn't allow the rank and file to make decisions or allow them pride of ownership. A visitor to my website E-mailed me a message that said, "Forget about the "professional" decisions-how about when you can't even select the company's holiday card without the President rejecting it for one of his own taste?"
    5. Management constantly reorganizes, shuffles people around, and changes direction constantly.
    6. Management doesn't have or take the time to clarify goals and decisions. Therefore, it rejects work after it was completed, damaging the morale and esteem of those who prepared it.
    7. Management shows favoritism and gives some workers better offices, trips to conferences, etc.
    8. Management relocates the offices to another location, forcing employees o quit or double their commute.
    9. Management promotes someone who lacks training and/or necessary experience to supervisor, alienating staff and driving away good employees.
    10. Management creates a rigid structure and then allows departments to compete against each other while at the same time preaching teamwork and cooperation.
Interesting, isn't it, that all ten factors begin with the phrase "Management…." Interesting, too, is just how many of these high-turnover factors are preventable.

As a people manager, it's hard ( for all manager and for me personally) to accept the fact that the biggest reason for 1 people to leave the company: the manager. No matter what the manager can argue, this is how I see my part in making a person leaving:

    - the job requirement not fit with their competency>> as manager, I'm the one who recruit them, so either they don't fit thejob or the job don't fit them , I partly accountable for the "wrong match"
    - The company don't have good enough career plan>> or me , the manager don't discuss w them often enough to understand ther wish and not act often enough to make it happen
    - salary is low vs.other offer>> or me, the manager ( to certain extend) fail in creating a working environment where money is not the only criteria in choosing job
Just some reflection for all people manager , including myself:)

Inadequate opportunities for career advancement also as the reason employees want to quit. Empty promises by upper management, such as promotions that don't pan out, have led many employees to give up on moving up the corporate ladder at their particular company

I dont know much the situation in VN. But in America, good people is leaving the company due to promotion and salary. Good company taking good care of people like Apple, people would stay with their jobs longer.
In the US, general young professional stays with their jobs maximun 2 years and they will find a better and higher position, more responsibility and more money.

You all have mentioned key reasons that a person quit their job. I'd like to add in from very different perspective: So if you are a manager whose employee are planing to quit, here are some case that you can convince them not to

    1. It’s a means to an end.
A job is a way to make a living but it’s also often a means to an end. Sometimes you have to pay your dues for a while , learn the full circle before moving on to a different position, one which you will like more. Think carefully about this before you quit.

    2. It pays well and you need to save up money.
We all should find a job that we love and are passionate about . But there is nothing wrong with being practical and realizing that you might need to stick to a job for a certain time because you’re saving up.

    3. Other things in your life are in a mess.
Some people quit job when they just get divorce or just have new baby... Let me tell you, bad idea.If you have a lot going on outside of work, it might be a bad time to quit and look for something new.

    4. You’re not prepared to look for another great job.

Finding a job takes energy and time. If you don’t have enough of either and you can’t realistically make time or find energy, then it’s not a good time to look for work.Don’t quit a job you hate to JUST make a change. You need to work hard to find a new job you like better and sure to stay there for at least another 2yrs

    5. You don’t really hate the job.

Before you quit a job you hate you have to make sure that you hate it and get very specific about what you hate about it. Do you hate what you do? If yes, is there a way to change what you do, by say, moving to a different role or a different department? Do you hate your boss? If yes, how long-term is this? (E.g. What are the chances your boss will move on, be fired or promoted?) Do you hate who you work with? Colleagues can get annoying and a poisonous work environment is bad for you, but is there anything you can do, like working with a different team or talking to HR about moving departments?

Well, understand the reason people quit their job also help us to keep them better, right?

In my opinion, the reasons (that listed in order of commoness) are:
    1) Bad boss / bad managers: The boss or managers dont have things that make employees admire or respect. In most cases, this is related the "people management skill" or "human relationship making".
    2) The employees dont see a bright future promotion with the company. This may be caused by the industry trends or the limited vision of the management. Some companies dont have enough flexibility to adapt corporate's business operation to the changing trends (especially the technology companies) and they run the risk of being backward
    3) The employee is fed up with the routin work and he/she needs to make a change
    4) Income reason: Employee finds another job with better offer package
    5) Family reason: The employee has family issue and he/she finds another job that can save more time for the family. To a young single man, travelling 3 or 4 days a week may be a pleasure, but it must be a nightmare to a 2-child lady ;-))
