WHAT IS THE BEST ANSWER ?

@Tran Le Minh: Because Tam said "every time" so I think that Tam mentioned more than once that she has seen the best answer => discussions. By the way, I didn't see Tam mentioned about Top Question at all. Just in case she means it - because she also talked about the total number of people who like the answer - well, then I believe there's no other good way to determine which answer is the best. You know, the answer that attracts like-click is more prefered by many others, that means that it deserves to be consulted more. If your answer is a better one, it should have been chosen to click on, right? Ah... it makes me think of another issue. Cos we all know that the present or gift for being chosen in Top Question is so appealing and it is clear said by Anphabe that we can ask people (members on Anphabe) for voting to win the competition, then it seems not to be fair if someone votes without any thought of how much interesting the answer is. In this situation, yea the answer might not be the best. So it feels right to read up all of the answers if desired. Anyways, we have to give her/him a big hand for a good networking skill on Anphabe.:)

Thanks Tam for asking, let me help to clarify:
- Best answer for normal discussion between members is chosen by the askers as Rosie has mentioned. You ask a question, every time anyone answer, Anphabe will email to notify you, you can choose Best answer for the one you like the most
- Top question Best answer is voted by the community: people read this section very often and click Like for the answer that impress them, so which answer has the most Like ( 1 person can only like 1 time/ 1 answer) will be the Best answer. Anphabe only do the counting and announcement at the due date

I can see many people after spend quality time answering also promote their answer ( in a way- their knowledge n personal brand) widely through their status and even ask friends to vote for them... This is a good way to get known and receive community acknowledgement.

- The Best Answer for normal discussions is of course selected by the question owner who has full right to do it. No wonder.
- My question is just for the Top Question. It is given prize as a reward to acknowledge the winner in competition.
According to Thanh's clarification, The Most Like Answer is more appropriate than The Best Answer.
Please remember, when few people in a community Like 1 answer and vote it as the best which does not mean the whole community acknowledges it as the best. Is it rational ?

Hi Tam Duyen Hua, Thanks your topic. I agree with you that the answer get more "like" comment is the best answer. However I think Anphabe runs the promotion for us to have more fun, share, learn and to make our forum hotter.
Hi Ms. Thank Nguyen. I suggest you that when you do high valued promotion you should choose as random or lottery (if any). About the last and recent promotion, I feel ok, we have fun and share.

I think we could not have the 100% accurate for the best answer, even Yahoo answer or google system they also use the same approach for best answer.

another thing, questions are discussed on alphabe have many perspective & point of views to be take in consideration so the best answers is hard to decide by any means.
