There are many things you can do to give your company a chance. You give your company a chance by winning the customer trust.
First, you must do a research about your competitors. You must find out your competitors strenght and weak. From there you develop the company's proposal and product's presentation. You can hire ouside companies to analyze your company products and measure your company results.
Be on time when see your customer. When a customer is just getting to know you, they don't have any evaluate history from you, so every bit is importantly count.
Don't try to sell anything to your customer yet, focus on listening and helping out. Listen with your emotion and help by suggestion good solutions. Give the knowledge free but not always. You should know what should be free what should not be free.
Show how you do and what you do. Customer loves to see how you actually create and produce your products becaus it allows them to see how much your passion, skills, and expertise you put on it.
Never advice your customer one way and do the opposite. This is the fasttest way to kill customer's trust.
Show your caring heart to customer. Build the caring friendship with good listening skills and unconditional love.
You should always do give and serve to gether. Before you want to start personal friendship you should privately give some good ideas or good advices. At beginning you must send free information to your customer but later a relation is born by this free information.
Cheer your customer up and make your customer special. Make a little party when you meet your customer or give out as a gift something with great value.
You should know when you need to walk away if you don't have what customer needs but if your competitor does, tell him.
Remember, Business is War. In the end, the goal of both business and war is profit.
